Elisabeth8/17/2005 3:34:55 AM Why is it impossible for somebody in europe to buy the cd? I used to have it, but it's broken and I can't find the cd anywhere in Europe.
Patrick8/17/2005 6:41:45 AM I can't imagine it is actually impossible. Have you tried amazon? If that doesn't work I am sure you can pick it up off of ebay.
Connie10/2/2005 6:38:09 PM I saw & videotaped two numbers from "Five Guys Named Moe;" the cast from 1992 performed on a Broadway anthology show recently. I was so awestruck; Doug Eskew is my new favorite, and I would love to know what he's doing now.
Connie10/2/2005 6:39:27 PM Oh, I forgot to say, my friend's cousin played with Louis Jordan, and my friend saw Louis Jordan perform towards the end of his career.
Cindy11/22/2005 4:10:47 PM To buy in Europe try www.dresscircle.co.uk...I first saw the show in England and I think it ran in London longer than NYC so if you "chunnel" over there at all a copy should be findable.
Mac1/15/2006 12:30:38 AM Yes, I agree the show was great. I personally enjoyed the Broadway cast more than the London cast. As for Mr. Doug Eskew, he is currently appearing in The Color Purple on Broadway at The Broadway Theatre. Saw it. Loved it.
Deb2/12/2006 8:19:03 PM I just got back from seeing The Color Purple - I was so excited to see Doug Eskew was in it. I love him - he's great. The whole show is great. My 3rd all-time-favorite B'way show is Five Guys Named Moe - if it came back to B'way I would run to see it again. Lots of fun. Elisabeth - I would be willing to copy my FGNM CD (if it's copy-able)and send it to you - it's one of my all-time favorites.
